Bio

Alex MacArthur began his music studies at the Vernon Community Music School in British Columbia, Canada. He finished his ARCT in 2003. Receiving his Bachelor of Music with a specialization in performance from the University of Victoria in 2008, he then studied for 2 years at 'Le Conservatoire de Musique de Montreal'.

He is also an accomplished accompanist and has played for many choirs and solo artists. Alex has performed in many classical concerts throughout his career, including as a guest soloist with the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra and the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra. He has been teaching piano for the past 20 years.

Alex enjoys transcribing and arranging music that he both plays and sings. He loves performing for anyone who will listen!
